Windows Down

I used to love riding around with Daddy on who knows what kind of errand, especially when the windows were down.  We were men, out getting stuff done.  Sometimes we'd stop in at a gas station and get something to drink.  For a boy, that's the good life.  Much of my musical taste was formed on those rides. We live in a busy, busy world.  There are almost always things that need to be taken care of, and we have even gotten good at adding extra things that really aren't necessary.  Gentlemen, whatever you have to get done and wherever you have to be, don't forget to take your kid(s) along when you can.  You might think that they would rather do something else, but you might be surprised sometimes.  What might seem like just a drive into town to get a part or to mail a package means a lot to your kids.

So, stick your head in and see if they want to ride.  Roll the windows down and rest your arms up there on the side (you know what I'm talking about).  Grab a handful of change and get something to drink.  Root beer's good if you're looking for suggestions.
