Gentlemen, we have lived to see the day.  So, many things have happened and are happening about which many have said "I hope I never live to see the day".  Well, we have.  I have cried for America.  I have prayed prayers for my family that I hoped I would never have to (and I've had a relatively easy life).  Sometimes my mind wanders to horrific scenarios that in my childhood would have only been possible in a nightmare, but now are very real prospects.  I have ached for the call of Revelation 18:4.  I have wrestled with thoughts that I have failed the people I love most because I think that somehow I should have been able to keep them from these days. "Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing?  The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed:  'Let us tear their fetters apart, and cast away their cords from us!'"-Psalm 2:1-3

"This is the word that the Lord has spoken...'Whom have you reproached and blasphemed?  And against whom have you raised your voice, and haughtily lifted up your eyes?  Against the Holy One of Israel?...Have you not heard?  Long ago I did it; from ancient times I planned it.  Now I have brought it to pass, that you should turn fortified cities into ruinous heaps...But I know your sitting down, and your going out and your coming in, and your raging against me.  Because of your raging against Me, and because your arrogance has come up to My ears, therefore I will put My hook in your nose, and My bridle in your lips..."-from 2 Kings 19:21-28
