My Father's World

Psalm 102:25 reads:  "Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands."  The nations rage against their Creator and Sustainer, by whose mercy they exist.  Nebuchadnezzar, the most powerful man on earth, built an image and demanded that God's people worship it.  He failed.  Belshazzar brought the vessels from the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem and drank wine from them at a feast.  He died that night, and the rule of his line over the kingdom was ended.  Nietzsche said:  "God is dead.  God remains dead.  And we have killed him..."  Nietzsche died of syphilis at the age of 56.  Charles Darwin, Charles Lyell, Thomas Huxley and their disciples have worked to wrest ownership of creation from God.  Their so-called "theories" have been roundly and soundly debunked, but are still taught as fact in almost every public and many private institutions of learning as well as many "churches."  Many scientists, including many atheists, have admitted that Darwinian evolution must be accepted purely as a matter of faith, and many have even abandoned it.  Unaccountable activist judges have usurped the authority of the free people of America and demanded that God's people worship at the altar of homosexuality.

We have no need to answer you in this matter.  Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from your hand.  But if not, let it be known to you that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the image which you have set up.

This is my Father's world.  He will call all to account.  "Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure?  Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?  Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him?  With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him the path of justice?  Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding?  Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing" (Isaiah 40:12-15).

"The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters.  Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?  Or who may stand in His holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.  He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of His salvation" (Psalm 24:1-5).

Thank You, Lord
