If you never do anything else in your life, you look at your kids, those souls who exist because of you, and you make up your mind once and for all to be their Daddy. Our enemy the devil loves few things more than when a man (if you can call him that) leaves his family. One statistic after another links single motherhood to just about every ill that our world suffers from (poverty, crime, drug dependency, low graduation rates, unemployment). Being a Daddy comes with some hard responsibilities; I won't argue with that. But, what could possibly be easier than saying "yes" to my family? How could I look into a little face, a face that looks just like mine, who looks to me because he has nowhere else to go, and just walk away? Shame on us if we ever leave them! Grow up and take care of your family! And while you're there, you might as well make it pleasant!
