I have said here before that we as men have to be timeless. Fashions, trends and overnight sensations come and go, and lately it seems to be happening faster and faster. But, truth always has and always will be true. People still need each other. Customer service is still important. If you want to play in Texas you've still got to have a fiddle in the band. The underdog still wins sometimes. Honesty is still the best policy. Eating right and exercising are still the best way to be healthy. Girls still want to be treated like ladies. Boys still want to be heroes. Kids still need their parents. Men and women still need each other. Sin is still wrong, and what the Lord called sin then is still sin now. God's Word is not obsolete, backward or irrelevant, and may He have mercy on anyone who thinks it is. His saints need not apologize for the Word of the Lord. We are not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. Now, gentlemen, let's act like it.
"Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright; for the man of peace will have a posterity. But transgressors will be altogether destroyed; the posterity of the wicked will be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble. And the Lord helps them, and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked, and saves them, because they take refuge in Him.
