Yesterday I was asked what is wrong with kids today. The question came from a very sweet lady who had just endured very disrespectful treatment at the hands of a very entitled teenager. On one hand, it is easy to dismiss complaints about the young as the typical concerns that every generation expresses about those who follow them. On the other hand, study after study indicates that our youth are changing for the worse. The millennial generation are not doing well in the workplace, are not providing for themselves, are not marrying, etc. So, what is wrong with kids today? They are doing exactly what we have taught them to do.
