Once God had performed the first marriage, the new groom, said "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh". Gentlemen, if we would say the same thing the world would be a better, safer, more prosperous place. (It would be a whole lot more fun, too.) Adam understood the incomparable gift, the grave responsibility and the different life that he had been given. So many marriages fail and lives are ruined and children are hurt because men do not understand what Adam understood. I am not suggesting that every failed marriage is due to this circumstance. However, many of them are.
We have to either accept that marriage is what the Lord created it to be, and our role as men within the marriage, or we will have to accept that the family will continue to fail as evil advances against it. Defend your family.
